Ladbrokes mobile casino app: slots first, then live tables

The Ladbrokes mobile casino app is the casino half of Ladbrokes on its own: slots, blackjack, roulette and the live dealer tables, according to both store listings. On the website, the casino lobby adds tabs for Exclusive, Slingo, Instant Win and Jackpots games, while bingo and poker have their own sections of the site.

The Google Play listing mentions free-to-play games too, including a daily Instant Spins wheel, and LadBucks you collect as you play and can use on Ladbrokes’ arcade games. They’re extras, and I wouldn’t install the app for them.

Ladbrokes puts its slot count at “over 1800”, and its games page talks up classic titles, retro three-reelers and Megaways games, with Fishin’ Frenzy and Rainbow Riches among the names in the store listings.

For me the table list is the better read. The listings name Premium Blackjack, All Bets Blackjack, Blackjack Surrender and Cashback Blackjack, plus Premium European Roulette and Quantum Roulette. I’m a big fan of seeing variants like Surrender named, because the rules change how a hand plays out.

If you want to see a game’s return to player before you play, Ladbrokes’ help centre says to open its help file or rules through the cog or question-mark icon. It also says RTP is “typically tested against a minimum of one million spins” and is calculated per game, not per player (so someone else’s big win on the same slot has no effect on yours).

I’d give the Ladbrokes live casino a proper look for one section of its lobby. On 29 September its live casino page listed 23 tables under “Tables only for our Ladbrokes players”. A payout over £2,000 is liable to manual checks and will likely take longer, so I’d expect a big win to miss that 4-hour mark.

Withdrawals can also be split to follow your deposits, and Ladbrokes gives a worked example. Pay in £100 by Visa and £50 by Apple Pay, ask for £200, and the first £100 has to go back to the Visa card before more than £50 can go to Apple Pay. Money from an offer that’s still tied to its terms can’t be withdrawn until they’re met.
