Our aim, in one line
We aim to give you honest, useful reviews. We do that by testing every app ourselves and putting each one through the same review process, so you can trust what you read here. This page explains how we work.

How we stay fair, and how we make money
We fund the site through affiliate commission. When you follow some of our links to an operator and sign up, we may earn a fee. That is how a free review site pays for the testing work behind it.
We work to keep our reviews fair and useful by putting every app through the same how we review process, and by being open about how the site runs. A few things we do:
- We only feature operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission.
- We describe each offer with its real terms — the deposit needed, wagering requirement, time limit and minimum odds — so you can judge it for yourself.
- An affiliate disclosure appears on the page, so you know it contains commercial links we may earn from.
- We show genuine pros and cons, including real drawbacks, not just the highlights.
If an offer has expired or its terms no longer match what the operator shows, tell us and we will fix it. Terms can change quickly, so always check the current terms on the operator's own site before you bet.
How we test and fact-check
Every app review is built on first-hand testing. Before a word is written, our reviewer downloads a fresh copy of the app, creates a real account, deposits real money, places real bets, tests a withdrawal, and contacts customer support. The full process is set out in how we review betting apps.
We score each app against five criteria — usability, betting markets, payments, live and in-play, and customer service and safer-gambling tools. Each score reflects what we found in testing, weighted by how much it matters to you. We do not round a score up to flatter an operator, and we report genuine faults even on apps we rate highly.
Reviews carry a clear byline. Where a specialist has checked the work, the page names who wrote it and who reviewed it, alongside the date it was last checked. You can read about the people behind the reviews on our about page.
How often we update reviews
Apps change, and a review is only useful if it reflects the current app. Every review shows a "last checked" date so you can see how fresh it is. We try to revisit an app when a big change lands, and we review our pages regularly to keep them current.
Things that prompt us to take another look include:
- A major new app version that changes how the app works.
- A payment method being added or removed, or a deposit or withdrawal limit changing.
- A change to the safer-gambling tools inside the app.
- Markets or odds shifting enough to affect a score.
- A regulator, complaint or credible report raising a trust issue about the operator.
Corrections and complaints
We aim to get things right, and we correct things when we get them wrong. If you spot a factual error — an out-of-date offer, a wrong figure, a feature we have described incorrectly — please tell us through our contact page.
We check every report. Where something is wrong, we fix it and update the "last checked" date on the page. Where a correction changes the substance of a review, we say what changed. We treat reader corrections as a normal part of keeping the site accurate, not as a complaint to bat away.
Responsible gambling
Betting should be fun, and only ever done with money you can afford to lose. Our content follows that principle throughout.
- We only review operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission.
- Every page is for over-18s only, and we do not use youth culture or feature under-25s in our content.
- We never dress a bet up as safe money or a certain thing, and we never suggest betting is a way to make money.
- We show genuine pros and cons — at least three real drawbacks in every review — and never hide a fault to make an app look better.
- We carry no urgency or pressure language that pushes you to bet before thinking.

Keeping our information current
Some of what you see on our pages is data that changes often — app store ratings and review counts, prediction scores, and betting odds among it. We use tools to pull in and collate that data so the figures on the page are as accurate and up to date as we can make them.
Where a number comes from an outside source, such as an app store rating, we show it as that source's figure with a date, so you can see what it is and when we last checked it.
Structured data and FAQs
We use structured data (schema) to help search engines and other tools that read the web understand our pages accurately. We apply it responsibly and only where it genuinely fits the content of the page.
Many of our pages include a plain FAQ section because it is useful to readers. We only add FAQ schema where a page genuinely answers common questions, following Google's guidance on when it fits — never to dress up a review or to game a search result.
Editorial policy FAQ
Do you accept payment to change a review?
No. We earn commission when readers sign up through some of our links, but that never changes a score, a ranking or what we write. No operator can pay to improve a review or remove a criticism.
Do you actually test the apps?
