Our Methodology
How Our Football Predictions Are Made
Every prediction on BettingApps is generated by our statistical model, which analyses dozens of data points for each fixture before arriving at a recommended bet. We look at recent league form, home and away records, head-to-head history, expected goals (xG) data, injury and suspension lists, and how the bookmaker odds compare to our own probability estimates.
When the model identifies a bet where our calculated probability is meaningfully higher than the bookmaker's implied odds, it flags it as a value pick. Our Confidence rating reflects how much data we have and how consistent the signals are: a Strong Pick means several independent factors are pointing in the same direction, while predictions with fewer confirmed data points are held back until closer to kick-off.
Predictions are published up to 48 hours before kick-off and updated again once confirmed team lineups are released. Cards marked "Full preview closer to kick-off" will be refreshed with team news, lineups, and deeper analysis as the match approaches.
What we analyse for each match
- League form over the last 6 matches
- Home and away performance splits
- Head-to-head record between the two sides
- Expected goals (xG) and chances created
- Current injury and suspension news
- Bookmaker odds vs our model probability
- Recent scoring and conceding trends
All predictions are informational and for entertainment. Please gamble responsibly and never bet more than you can afford to lose.

How to Use This Page Each Matchweek
-
Check today's fixtures
Scroll to the Upcoming Match Predictions section above. Use the competition tabs to filter by the league you want to bet on — Premier League, La Liga, Champions League, and more.
-
Prioritise Strong Picks and Value Picks
Cards labelled Strong Pick or Value Pick are where our model has the most confidence. These are the bets worth looking at first. Cards with no badge are still worth reading — they just have fewer confirmed data points at this stage.

Common Questions
Football Predictions FAQ
Are the football predictions free?
Yes. Every prediction on BettingApps is completely free to view. You do not need to register or subscribe. Simply click any fixture card to read the full match preview, team news, and our recommended bet.
How accurate are the predictions?
No prediction service can guarantee results — football always carries uncertainty. Our model is built on statistical analysis of form, head-to-head data, and odds movement, and we track its performance over time. You should always apply your own judgement and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
What does the confidence rating mean?
The confidence rating reflects how strongly multiple data signals align for a given pick. A "Strong Pick" means several independent factors — form, H2H record, xG, and odds value — all point in the same direction. A "Solid Pick" is backed by good but fewer signals. Cards with no badge may have limited confirmed data and will be updated closer to kick-off.
What is a value bet?
A value bet is one where the probability of an outcome is higher than the bookmaker's odds suggest. For example, if we calculate a team has a 60% chance of winning but the bookmaker's odds imply only a 45% chance, that is a value bet. Our "Value Pick" and "Strong Value" labels highlight these opportunities.
When are predictions updated?
Predictions are typically published 48 hours before kick-off and updated again once confirmed team lineups are available, usually one hour before the match. Cards showing "Full preview closer to kick-off" will be refreshed with team news and deeper analysis as the game approaches.
What betting markets do you cover?
We cover a wide range of markets including Match Result (1X2), Both Teams to Score, Over/Under 2.5 Goals, Correct Score, Double Chance, Asian Handicap, and Draw No Bet. The recommended market is displayed on each prediction card and explained in full on the matchup page.
Can I combine these tips into an accumulator?
Yes. Many punters use our predictions to build their own accumulators. We recommend selecting picks labelled Strong Pick or Value Pick for acca building, as these represent the model's highest-confidence recommendations. Always check that the bookmaker allows combining your chosen markets.
Which leagues do you cover?
We cover the Premier League, EFL Championship, Scottish Premiership, UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and major international competitions including the World Cup. New leagues are added regularly.
