Best for in-play & live streaming
bet365 app download & review (October 2026)
For in-play betting and watching sport on your phone, bet365 is the strongest app we track: fast, deep on markets, and with live streaming across football, tennis, racing, darts and more. Promotions are thinner than some rivals, and it will not take a bet with location services switched off.

How to download the bet365 app on Android and iPhone
The bet365 mobile app is free on Google Play and the App Store, and the same login works on both. It takes up about 24 MB on Android and 60 MB on iPhone, and needs iOS 15 or later. Here's how to download it on each, and what to do if it doesn't show up in your store.
Download the bet365 app for Android
- Open Google Play: licensed UK betting apps are listed directly on the Play Store.
- Search for "bet365" and check the developer name matches the official operator.
- Tap "Install". The app is free.
- Open the app and log in, or register a new account. You must be 18 or over, and identity verification is required before you can bet.
- Set your deposit limits in the app before you place a first bet.
bet365 app not showing on Google Play?
Google Play only shows licensed UK betting apps to accounts whose Play Store country is set to the United Kingdom and whose age is verified as 18 or over. If a search for bet365 comes back empty, check your Play Store country setting and try again. We do not recommend installing a bet365 APK from a mirror site: you lose automatic updates and have no guarantee the file is genuine.
Download the bet365 app for iPhone and iPad
- Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad (you need a UK Apple ID).
- Search for "bet365" and check the developer name matches the official operator before you install anything.
- Tap "Get" to download. The app is free.
- Open the app and log in, or register a new account. You must be 18 or over, and identity verification is required before you can bet.
- Set your deposit limits in the app before you place a first bet.
How we checked these steps: I installed the app on a Google Pixel 10 Pro from Google Play, where it's listed for UK accounts, and we followed the same steps on a Pixel 6 Pro and an iPhone 6s for this review.
How it scores
For in-play betting and watching sport on your phone, bet365 is the strongest app we track: fast, deep on markets, and with live streaming across football, tennis, racing, darts and more. Promotions are thinner than some rivals, and it will not take a bet with location services switched off.
We scored this app from our own testing on 23 Mar 2026. How we review →
Pros
- Live streaming with a market overlay you can toggle: useful while you bet, and off with one tap when you just want to watch the game.
- Navigation and search are the best we have used in a betting app: results include related teams and even surface outright bets, so you reach futures markets faster.
- In-play betting is smooth and the price-change guard ("Accept Change") stops you accidentally placing at new odds.
- Zero lag, blank screens or crashes across two full test sessions on a Pixel 10 Pro.
- Accumulator bet types (4-fold, trebles, Lucky 15) are worked out for you automatically.
Cons
- Full cash out only: bet365 removed Partial Cash Out by February 2025, and Auto Cash Out wasn't available in our testing.
- Edit My Acca wasn't offered on the accas I built; it may not be available on every acca.
- No sportsbook loyalty or VIP programme, only rotating, time-limited offers.
- Withdrawing after using more than one deposit method can trigger extra checks, so it is best to stick to one.
- On iOS the app stalls on first open if Location Services is off, with no clear error message shown.

What the app supports
Ongoing bet365 promotions
Regular offers for existing bet365 customers. Each has its own terms, and they change from time to time, so check them before you bet.
2 Goals Ahead Early Payout
Back a team before kick-off on the standard Full Time Result market in a qualifying football competition. If they go two goals up at any stage, bet365 pays a single bet in full, even if the other side comes back to draw or win. In a multiple or a Bet Builder, that selection is marked as won and the rest of the bet carries on.
Significant terms: 18+. Only available to new and eligible customers. Pre-match single and multiple bets on the standard Full Time Result market for football games from the selected competitions, for matches played up to and including 31/12/2026. Bets on the Full Time Result – Enhanced Prices market don't apply, and the offer doesn't apply where a bet has been Cashed Out. T&Cs apply.
Best Odds Guaranteed
On UK and Irish horse racing, take a price from 08:00 UK time on the day of the race. If your horse wins or places and the starting price is bigger, bet365 pays you at the bigger odds. It applies to the standard Win and Each Way fixed odds market.
Significant terms: 18+. Only available to new and eligible customers. Bets placed from 08:00 UK time on the day of the race, on Win and Each Way or Win Only fixed odds markets, for UK and Irish horse racing only. Each Way Extra (adjusted place terms), Position Payout, ante-post bets (unless otherwise stated) and Tote, pari-mutuel and Colossus bets are excluded. T&Cs apply.
Acca Boost
A winning accumulator of two or more selections earns extra winnings, paid as cash, on qualifying markets across the main football and tennis competitions worldwide and the major US sports leagues. The boost depends on how many selections you have, from 2.5% on a double up to 100% on a 20-fold.
Significant terms: 18+. Only available to new and eligible customers. Accumulators of 2 or more selections on qualifying markets for selected leagues and competitions. Bets placed with Bet Credits don't qualify, and the boost doesn't apply to an accumulator with any selection at odds of less than 1/10. Maximum boost £100,000. T&Cs apply.

Betting markets and odds
bet365 covers more sports than any other UK bookmaker I have used, from the mainstream to the genuinely obscure. Football runs to more than 35 leagues, racing covers UK, Irish and international meetings, and cricket, tennis, golf, darts and boxing all get proper depth. If you move between sports with the seasons, that breadth is one of the app’s real strengths.
The in-play markets are where that depth really shows, and the prices keep pace with the action when a game goes live. On UK and Irish racing you also get Best Odds Guaranteed from 08:00 on race day: take a price, and if the starting price comes in bigger, you’re paid at the bigger odds. It doesn’t cover ante-post bets, but for race-day betting it’s a simple safety net.
How to place your first bet
Placing a bet on the bet365 app takes a few taps: pick a match, tap the odds, enter your stake and confirm. When I placed a £35 in-play bet on Roma to beat Lecce, top of the Featured Matches list with Roma already a goal up, it took under two minutes from opening the app to the bet being confirmed. Here is exactly what each step looked like.
- Open the app and tap Football in the navigation bar.
- In the Featured Matches section at the top, Roma vs Lecce was the first match.
- Tap the match card to open the game view. The live stream or current stats appear first, with all the betting markets and the Bet Builder tab below.
- Choose your market. I went for Full Time Result, with the selections/odds for Roma, Draw and Lecce next to each other.
- Tapping Roma’s odds added the selection to the bet slip at the bottom of the screen, showing the selection details, the current odds and a stake field.
- Enter your stake. As I typed, the potential return updated in real time.
- (The odds shifted slightly after I had made my selection. A banner appeared reading “the price of your selection has changed” and the “Place Bet” button became “Accept Change”.) I confirmed the new price and tapped again to place the bet.
- The bet was placed. The confirmation screen gave me a bet reference number, a Share button, the option to turn on live match alerts, and a Reuse Selections shortcut to rebuild the betslip with the same bets.
I tracked the match in My Bets throughout. The cash out offer climbed steadily as Roma extended their lead, reaching over 90% of the full return value with about five minutes to go. I did not cash out. Roma won, and the bet settled as a winner. That “Accept Change” step is worth highlighting for anyone new to in-play betting: odds move quickly during a live game, and having to confirm a price shift before the bet goes on stops you accidentally backing a selection at odds you never meant to take. It adds one tap, but it is a sensible safeguard.
Key app features
bet365 packs a lot into one app. These are the features you’re most likely to use, and what each one is like day to day.
Live streaming
Games with a live stream appear at the top of the match view, above the stats panel. In fullscreen, bet365 lays an overlay of the most popular markets across the bottom of the screen, so you can scroll through the odds and place a bet without leaving the stream. The overlay toggles on or off with a single tap, I found myself switching it off when I just wanted to watch, and back on when I was actively looking to place a bet. It is a small detail, but it makes the streaming experience noticeably less cluttered and easy to use.
Bet Builder
Tap the Bet Builder tab at the top of any match page and you get the full list of available markets for the bet builder to combine. Select each leg and it’s added into the bet slip. Once you have made all your selections, the slip shows the combined odds and your potential return from a single stake. The process is simple and the market range is pretty broad, letting you build genuinely interesting combinations, not just standard winner-and-scorer options.
In-play betting
Tapping a live game brings up the current match stats first, with all the betting markets and the Bet Builder option below. The stats view includes a live match tracker, which is useful for following the action if you do not have a stream available. If the price moves before your bet goes on, you get the Accept Change prompt described above, so you never back a selection at odds you didn’t choose.
Cash Out
bet365’s Cash Out sits in My Bets and is easy to find; on my Roma bet the offer climbed past 90% of the full return before the end. It’s full cash out only, though. bet365 removed Partial Cash Out by February 2025 (its support team confirmed it), and Auto Cash Out, which cashes a bet out for you when it reaches a value you set, wasn’t available at any point in my March 2026 sessions; bet365’s help centre now describes full Cash Out only. Other big UK apps are similar on Auto Cash Out: William Hill doesn’t offer it either, and Sky Bet, Ladbrokes and Coral don’t mention it in their help pages.
Bet slip
The bet slip slides up from the bottom as soon as you tap a price, with your stake and a potential return that updates as you type. After you bet, Reuse Selections rebuilds the same picks if you want to back them again in another bet.
Accumulators
Building an acca is straightforward. Browse to upcoming matches in any sport, tap the odds across your selections, and the bet slip works out every multiple you can place (doubles, trebles, four-folds and combinations like a Lucky 15) without you choosing anything. I put together a four-fold across upcoming football fixtures with a £5 stake, at odds of 2.91/1 for a potential £19.56 return. The whole process took under two minutes.
Face ID and fingerprint login
You can log in with Face ID, a fingerprint or a PIN, all set up under Account then Settings. The app offers to turn it on after your first password sign-in, or you can do it later in Preferences. It’s worth doing: when you want to check a live score or react to a price, getting back in with your face or a fingerprint instead of typing a password makes a real difference. If it stops working, our bet365 login guide has bet365’s own fixes.
Horse racing racecard
The horse racing racecard is one of the better laid out in any UK betting app. For each runner you get written form notes and a Spotlight summary of the key details for that race, with the horse’s last five results in full below. If there’s a live stream it sits at the top; if not, an animation shows where the field is. Each Way Extra with Place Boost is there on supported races.
Virtual sports
Virtual Sports sits in the main menu alongside the real sports, and it looks and works the same way. Pick a virtual sport and you go straight into a stream of the event that’s running, with the next ones and their markets underneath. If you already use the sports side of the app, there’s nothing new to learn.
Casino
The Casino is one tap away in the main menu. It switches to its own layout, with rails like Games of the Month and Live Casino, and the slots I opened loaded quickly. If you use bet365 mainly for sport, the casino is a natural extension of the app; our bet365 Casino review covers the slots and table games properly.
Notifications and alerts
Notifications live under Account then Alerts. Winning-bet, “Free bets” (bet365’s label) and payment alerts are all on by default, so switch off any you don’t want. Settlement alerts are the useful ones: they tell you when a bet is settled, which is handy when you have in-play bets running through a busy afternoon of fixtures. Alerts for matches or races you’re tracking are listed separately and can be cleared in one go.
What it is like to use day to day
I have used the bet365 app more than any other UK bookmaker over the years, and the reason comes down to one thing: it rarely makes you think. The structure is logical enough that finding what you want is almost instinctive, even across a busy fixture list.
Navigation
The homepage opens with a search bar at the top and a strip of icons below it for the sports and gaming sections, so one tap gets you to any section. In the football section, matches are filtered by Top Leagues, UK, UEFA Competitions, or a View All list of upcoming fixtures. It is the kind of layout that rewards regular use: you quickly learn where things are and stop thinking about navigation at all, which is exactly what you want from a betting app.
Search
Search is stronger than you would expect. Searching Manchester United returned a Teams section with United at the top and FC United of Manchester directly below it: the most likely result first, with related ones close by. Below the team results, the search also surfaced outright bets: Premier League winner odds, top-half finish, and similar futures. It is a useful safety net for anyone who is not sure exactly where to navigate to, and a faster route to futures markets than clicking through to the competition pages.
Deposits
Depositing is simple: tap Deposit from anywhere in the app, pick a method and you’re done. The minimum deposit is £5 for most methods (£25 by PayPal, £100 by standard bank transfer), and none of them charges a fee. Every method I tested (Google Pay, PayPal and Pay by Bank) showed the balance instantly. Pay by Bank adds one approval step in your banking app, which is an expected part of the Open Banking process and takes a few seconds.
Withdrawals
To withdraw, go to Account and tap Withdraw. Enter your amount and the app processes it to the last payment method you used that accepts withdrawals. My test withdrawal to PayPal was requested at 13:00 and arrived at 14:01, just over an hour, which is at the faster end for an e-wallet withdrawal. One thing to be aware of: if you have deposited using more than one payment method in the same session, as I did during testing, bet365 may pause the withdrawal and flag it for additional checks. This is not a widespread issue for most people who stick to one method, but it is worth knowing. If it happens, the in-app live chat sorts it out quickly: mine was confirmed and back on track within a couple of minutes.
Performance
The app ran without lag, blank screens or crashes, which is a solid result for an app handling live odds and a streaming feed at the same time. That was across two sessions on a Pixel 10 Pro, switching between live streams, in-play betting, an accumulator and upcoming matches.
Customer support
Live chat is bet365’s main support route: it’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the Contact Us page of its help centre, and when I used it I was talking to a person in under a minute. There’s a webform for anything you want in writing, and bet365 also answers on Facebook and X around the clock. If you were hoping to ring someone, its UK Contact Us page doesn’t list a phone number. For every route and how to use it, see our guide to contacting bet365.
How does bet365 compare to other betting apps?
bet365 still feels like the easiest of the main UK betting apps for day-to-day use. I compared it with Paddy Power, 888sport and Betfred, the apps I come back to alongside it, and this is where each one comes out ahead or behind.
Against Paddy Power, bet365 wins on the match and event pages. The event card layout is easier to scan, so you get to the markets you actually want more quickly. Paddy Power does offer deeper in-event stats through Opta data, which is genuinely useful when you’re deciding on a bet, but for overall flow, bet365 is cleaner.
Against 888sport, the support comparison is clear. Both have live chat, but 888 routes you through an AI assistant first, which adds steps when you just want a straight answer from a human. bet365’s live chat put me straight through to a person.
Betfred is the closest comparison on overall usability. It is a well-built app, but bet365 edges it on polish: the market depth, the racecard detail and the streaming all feel a step above. The main area where bet365 loses ground to all three is loyalty: there is no sportsbook rewards scheme, while some competitors do offer ongoing points or bonuses for regular use.
Is the bet365 app safe?

bet365 app not working? Common faults and fixes
If the bet365 app won't open, install or let you log in, start with the problem below that matches what you're seeing. If none of them does, the last part covers the bigger reasons it might not work for you.
The app sits on a blank screen when you open it on iPhone
Fix: bet365 needs to know where you are before it lets you bet, so if Location Services is switched off, the app can hang without telling you why. Go to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Location Services, switch it on and open the app again.
The app or site won't load, or shows an error
Fix: bet365 checks your location and needs cookies, so anything that hides where you are can stop it loading. Turn off any VPN (bet365 doesn't support them, and its terms ban using one to hide your location), leave private or incognito browsing, clear the app's cache or your browser's cookies, then try again.
The app won't install on Android, or says your phone isn't compatible
Fix: bet365 supports the last three major Android releases, so an older phone may not be able to run the app. Install it from Google Play rather than an APK from another website. If your phone is too old, bet365's mobile site works in your browser instead.
You can't log in
Fix: Forgotten your username or password? Use the "Forgot your Username or Password?" link on the login box. If the account has locked after three wrong attempts, contact bet365, and if you self-excluded, it stays closed until the period you chose ends. Our bet365 login guide goes through each of these.
Still can't download or open the bet365 app?
If none of that works, the problem may be where you are rather than your phone. bet365 doesn't accept customers in every country and doesn't support VPNs, so check our list of where bet365 is legal. If you're on Android and can't find the bet365 app on Google Play, or it won't download on your Samsung, our guide to why you can't download betting apps on Android explains why Google Play doesn't show betting apps in some countries and the other ways to get them.
How we tested this app
We tested the bet365 app across two sessions, about two hours in all, on 22 and 23 March 2026, using a Google Pixel 10 Pro on Android 16 with app version 8.0.42.00-row from Google Play. We checked the install steps on a Pixel 6 Pro and an iPhone 6s too. The tests behind this review were real: deposits by Google Pay, PayPal and Pay by Bank, a PayPal withdrawal, and real bets, including the in-play single and the four-fold described in the review.

App store ratings
What people rate the app on the App Store and Google Play right now.
“Bet365 and their team have created the best, unique, fastest and aesthetically pleasing sports betting application.”Quoted from the App Store
“One thing that stands out is how fast and reliable their payouts are, especially when withdrawing to a bank account.”Quoted from the App Store
“I've been with bet365 for nearly 11 years. To start off with it was brilliant, but it has really gone downhill the last year or so and consistently freezes.”Quoted from the App Store
Our bet365 verdict
If you bet in-play or like to watch the sport you’re betting on, bet365 is the most complete app we have reviewed. The market depth is hard to match, the prices hold up when a game is live, and the live streaming means you can watch a lot of what you bet on in the same app. Add no payment fees and a PayPal withdrawal that landed in about an hour, and it’s an easy app to recommend for everyday betting.
It isn’t flawless. Promotions are thinner than some rivals’, and there’s no sportsbook loyalty scheme. If a big welcome offer is what you’re after, look elsewhere. For in-play depth and streaming, nothing we have reviewed does it better.

bet365 app FAQ
Is bet365 a good app?
Yes. It's the strongest UK app we track for in-play betting and live streaming, which is why our provisional score is 9.3/10. The trade-offs are thinner promotions than some rivals and no sportsbook loyalty scheme.
Is the bet365 app free to download?
Yes. The app is free on both the App Store and Google Play. You must be 18 or over to register, and identity verification is required before you can bet.
Do bet365 pay out instantly?
Not quite. bet365's help centre (checked 4 October 2026) gives 1 to 4 hours to process most withdrawals, including PayPal and debit cards, and lists only Apple Pay withdrawals as instant; some withdrawals take up to 2 banking days to be received. Deposits, by contrast, are instant on cards and e-wallets.
Why is the bet365 app not working?
Usually it's location or a VPN: bet365 needs Location Services switched on and doesn't work through a VPN. The "not working" section above has the fix for each problem, and what to try if none of them works.
Does the bet365 app have live streaming?
Yes. The app streams football, tennis, racing, darts and more. Streaming requires a funded account or a bet placed in the last 24 hours.
Can I log in with Face ID or a fingerprint?
Yes. The app supports PIN, fingerprint and Face ID login, set up under Account then Settings. There is also a separate bet365 Authenticator app for extra account security.
Can I download the bet365 app on Android?
Yes. It's on Google Play: search for bet365, check the developer is Hillside Technology Limited, and tap Install. The download section above goes through each step.
How do I update the bet365 app?
Through the App Store or Google Play, like any other app: open the store, find bet365 and tap Update, or turn on automatic updates. It's one reason to install from the official store, as an APK from another website won't update itself.
What is the bet365 maximum payout?
It depends on the sport and competition. bet365's help centre sets maximum winnings of £2,000,000 in any 24 hours on the Premier League, FA Cup, Championship, League One and League Two, the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, and the top leagues in Spain, Italy, Germany and France, and £1,000,000 on UK and Irish horse racing when an industry SP is declared. The limits exclude your stake, and on a multiple the lowest limit of its selections applies (checked 5 October 2026).
