LAD Best for SPINS jackpot sit & gos

Ladbrokes Poker app review September 2026

I'd download the Ladbrokes poker app for the games rather than the app itself. The schedule is wide and cheap to get into, from SPINS jackpot sit and goes to tournaments that start at 11 cents, and every cash-game rake cap is set out on Ladbrokes' site.

How it scores

I'd download the Ladbrokes poker app for the games rather than the app itself. The schedule is wide and cheap to get into, from SPINS jackpot sit and goes to tournaments that start at 11 cents, and every cash-game rake cap is set out on Ladbrokes' site. What lets it down is an iPhone app whose last update, as of September 2026, was almost a year old, and tables that are all priced in dollars.

App usability & design (25%) 5/10

The iPhone app went almost a year without an update, and several promotions are tied to the poker client rather than the app.

Games & formats (20%) 7/10

No-limit and pot-limit Hold'em and Omaha, Short Deck, Fastforward fast-fold tables and SPINS jackpot sit and goes, though the listings name no other games.

Payments & account (20%) 6/10

Poker runs on your ladbrokes.com account, so its cashier rules apply, and the tables and prizes are priced in US dollars.

Tournaments & player traffic (20%) 7/10
Customer service & RG (15%) 6/10

Live chat, email and a three-stage complaints route to IBAS, with deposit, stake and time limits on offer. The operator's 2022 Gambling Commission settlement weighs on it.

What you get in the Ladbrokes poker app, and what you might not

The store listings describe four tables at once on one screen, one-handed portrait play, a raise slider and a hand replayer that shows your showdown percentages. Ladbrokes says SPINS “are available on both the downloadable client as well as mobile devices”, so the jackpot games come with you.

The bit that bothers me is the small print on the extras. The hourly freerolls, the $109 Sunday tournament, SPINS Overdrive and the weekly cashback are all limited to players who have downloaded Ladbrokes’ poker client, or marked “Download Required”, and none of those terms say whether the phone app counts. I’d want that answered before choosing the app over the desktop software.

Ladbrokes poker games: cash, Fastforward and SPINS

The store listings name Texas Hold’em and Omaha, with Short Deck as a cash game from blinds of $0.01/$0.02, and Ladbrokes’ cash games guide says you can sit down with $0.60. Its how-to-play pages also cover limit Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Lo and Stud, if you like the older games.

Fastforward is Ladbrokes’ name for fast-fold poker, on Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha from $0.02/$0.05 to $5/$10. Fold and you’re moved straight to a new hand at another table. With cash tables of up to six players, I think that’s the better choice if you get bored folding your way round a table.

With SPINS, a random multiplier between 2 and 240,000 sets the prize pool of each three-handed game before the first card, from a $0.25 buy-in, and the levels go up every three minutes. The $1 million headline is the top multiplier on the $5 game. For me, the stake is what matters when choosing a SPINS game, since most of what you’ll play is short, fast sit and goes.

Ladbrokes poker tournaments and freerolls

Ladbrokes counts over 500 multi-table tournaments a day, and its Daily Legends series starts at $0.11. There are shootouts, heads-up and bounty events, rebuy tournaments, and satellites into bigger games, including a $109 tournament every Sunday.

I’d look hardest at the bounty events. In Ladbrokes’ words, “Ladbrokes Poker has removed the rake from the bounty element of Progressive Knockout (PKO) MTTs.” Its own example is a $109 PKO that used to split $50 prize pool, $50 bounty and a $9 fee. It now splits $50, $54 and $5, so the extra $4 goes to the players who knock others out.

Ladbrokes poker freerolls run every hour, round the clock, with an hour’s late entry, for anyone who has downloaded the client.

Ladbrokes poker rake, cashback and dollars

You can work out what a session costs before you play, and I like that. On no-limit and pot-limit Hold’em and Omaha, Ladbrokes takes $0.01 for every $0.20 in the pot, which is 5%. As published in September 2026, from $0.10/$0.25 to $5/$10 the most it takes from one hand is $1 with two players, $2 with three or four, and $3 with five or more. Heads-up tables have their own caps, up to $8 at $25/$50. A hand that ends before the flop isn’t raked at all (“no flop, no drop”). Tournament fees show in each lobby, for example $10+$1 on an $11 event, and freerolls have none.

The loyalty scheme hands some of that back. Ladbrokes says you opt in once, earn a point for every dollar of rake or fees, and get up to 20% of your rake back each week, paid as cash.

Every stake at the tables is in US dollars, from the buy-in to the prize, and Ladbrokes’ promotion terms say dollar prizes are paid into your account currency at the exchange rate on the day. That leaves a pound player taking the currency risk.

Deposits and withdrawals for poker

Poker Dollars are Ladbrokes’ virtual poker currency. They buy you into any game except heads-up games, they’re spent before your cash unless you change the setting, and they can’t be withdrawn.

For real money, poker runs on your ladbrokes.com account: its poker promotions are for customers with a verified ladbrokes.com account, and you can top up mid-game with Quick Deposit from the table settings. The cashier rules are set out in our Ladbrokes casino app review, including a £2,000 cap on any single UK deposit and three active payment methods in any 30 days.

Ladbrokes poker login and screen names

Your screen name is permanent. Ladbrokes’ poker help says “once set, the screen name cannot be changed at a later date”, because it wants players to learn each other’s styles.

For the Ladbrokes poker login, the help centre has routes for a forgotten username or password, and repeated wrong passwords block the account until you message customer services. Before you can deposit, withdraw or play, Ladbrokes checks your ID and address, and it aims to review any documents you send within 36 hours.

Ladbrokes poker live chat and complaints

Table chat is English-only, and Ladbrokes asks players to report anyone they think is colluding. For anything else, its help centre offers live chat and email. A complaint that customer services can’t settle goes to a team manager, then to complaints@ladbrokes.com, with IBAS as the independent step after that.

Safer gambling at Ladbrokes poker

Ladbrokes’ self-exclusion lasts at least six months, and its terms let you apply it to your Ladbrokes account only or to all the brands run by the Entain group. That’s a useful option for poker players, as the same licence-holder also trades as partypoker. If you don’t choose, it applies to Ladbrokes only.

For day-to-day control there are deposit limits by day, week or month, a max stake limit, a curfew, reality checks and play breaks, and Ladbrokes says it may put a loss limit on an account itself.

Ladbrokes is registered with GAMSTOP (gamstop.co.uk), which blocks you from every online gambling site and app run by its members. For free, confidential support go to BeGambleAware.org or call the National Gambling Helpline (GamCare) on 0808 8020 133, open 24 hours. You must be 18 or over to gamble. Please gamble responsibly.

Is Ladbrokes poker safe to play?

Yes. The operator, LC International Limited, is part of Entain and holds Gambling Commission account 54743, and its terms keep customer money in a trust account at the Commission’s high protection level. At the tables, Ladbrokes says it watches for collusion and other rule breaking with automatic systems and live staff. In 2022 the Commission also announced a £14 million settlement with Entain over LC International’s safer gambling and anti-money laundering checks.

Ladbrokes Poker app not working? Common faults and fixes

You were disconnected mid-hand

Fix: At a cash table, Ladbrokes returns your money to your account, and you can rejoin through the table ID in the lobby. In a Sit & Go or tournament, log out and back in to be reseated. Ladbrokes' help says an all-in lost to a problem with your own connection stands.

You won a satellite but can't see a ticket

Fix: Ladbrokes registers you for the target tournament automatically. If you can't play it, unregister from My Tournaments and you'll get a ticket for a similar event instead.

You can't unregister from a tournament

Fix: You can leave a multi-table tournament up to 5 minutes before it starts. If you registered inside those 5 minutes, you can't unregister at all.

You can't see the hourly freerolls

Fix: The freeroll terms limit them to players who've downloaded Ladbrokes' poker client.

Your account is blocked after wrong passwords

Fix: Message customer services with your name, address, date of birth, phone number and the email on the account, and they can unblock it.

Our Ladbrokes Poker verdict

For tournament and SPINS players on a small budget, I’d install it, mainly for a schedule that starts at 11 cents and rake caps you can check before you sit down. Look elsewhere if you want an app that’s updated often or you’d rather play in pounds. The £50 in welcome tickets needs a £10 first deposit and a daily login to the Poker client, and each ticket expires 7 days after it’s issued. That’s fair value if you’d be playing that week anyway, but I wouldn’t open an account just for it.

Ladbrokes Poker app FAQ

Is Ladbrokes poker rigged?

Ladbrokes' rake page describes rake as the commission a cardroom takes from each pot, which is how it makes its money at the tables. It also asks players to report anyone they suspect of colluding, and the operator holds a Gambling Commission licence, account 54743.

Can I play on a PC or Mac?

Yes. Ladbrokes' help centre says its poker software can be installed on Windows and macOS, and it lists Windows 10 or newer and 64-bit macOS 12 or newer as supported systems. To download Ladbrokes poker on a phone, use Google Play or the App Store instead of the Ladbrokes poker download software.

Are there tournaments only for new players?

Yes. Ladbrokes' help says welcome tournaments and welcome cash tables are open for the first 15 days after you sign up.

Can Ladbrokes refuse to pay out?

Its terms cap poker winnings at £100,000, except where a tournament specifies more, and let it withhold winnings after a malfunction or banned play such as collusion. It also reviews every withdrawal and won't pay out until your account is verified.
