Sky Casino mobile app: built round live tables

Sky’s website lobby runs tabs for Live Casino, Table, Slots, Jackpots and Game Shows, with Live Casino first. Sky lists games exclusive to Sky Casino “plus more than 300 other games”, and its list of game types includes around 250 slots. That tells you where Sky has put its weight.

Sky Casino games and slots

Sky says Sky Casino runs on Playtech software, and the games it names are Playtech ones: the Age of the Gods jackpot slots, Celtic Charm and Buffalo Blitz. Progressive jackpots take part of each stake into a side pot, and the help centre says “These jackpots are linked with other casinos”.

Slots and instant games run on a random number generator operated by an independent company, according to the help centre, and Sky’s site says you can see a game’s RTP on its information page. Sky applies the UK stake cap on slots of £2 a spin for players aged 18 to 24 and £5 for everyone older. Its terms cap winnings on one wager at £250,000, except on progressive jackpots or where a game or promotion says otherwise.

The Age of the Gods series carries both the jackpots and the welcome offer’s six eligible games, so that’s where Sky Casino slots serve a player best.

Sky Casino live tables and game shows

Sky’s live casino is powered by Playtech, and its site says professional dealers present the games from the provider’s studios. The roulette tables include Standard Live Roulette, Speed Roulette Live, Quantum Roulette and Sky Casino Live Roulette, which Sky says is exclusive to Sky Casino. The blackjack lobby has over 20 tables, among them All Bets Blackjack Live, Quantum Blackjack and Royale Blackjack, and the game shows include Buffalo Blitz and The Money Drop Live.

On 30 September, the featured tables on Sky’s live casino page listed stake ranges from £0.10 to £10,000, most of them £0.20 to £2,000. The dealers can’t see or hear you, Sky says, and the only way to talk to them is the chat box on screen. Over 20 blackjack tables is a deep lobby for one game, and it’s the section I’d point a blackjack player to.

Sky Casino withdrawal times and payments

Revolut Pay is for UK customers paying in pounds. Sky’s help centre puts Pay by Bank first for money in and out, calling it “the most convenient & quickest method”, and says those withdrawals are immediate. The card times are in the table.

Debit card and Apple Pay deposits go through straight away, and you can hold up to three debit cards, with Apple Pay not counted towards that. A deposit made for a promotion must be by debit card or Apple Pay, the help centre says, or you won’t qualify.

Under the net deposits rule, money paid in by card goes back to that card first. So I’d use a debit card or Apple Pay only for a deposit a promotion needs, and Pay by Bank for everything else.

Sky Casino login, ID checks and playing abroad

Sky Bet customers skip registration: the same Sky Betting & Gaming username and password open Sky Casino. In the app, the help centre describes signing in with a PIN, or with a fingerprint or face scan instead.

If Sky asks for ID, upload it under My Account, Account Settings, Upload Identity Documents, or send it through live chat.

Sky only lets you use the account in the UK, Ireland, the Isle of Man or Gibraltar. A login from any other country can get the account suspended, and lifting it takes a live chat after you’re back and a call back to a UK or Irish number.

Sky Casino live chat and other ways to get help

Sky’s help centre sends you to live chat through the Contact Us button. The less usual route is social: Sky’s team takes private messages on X and Facebook and says there’s “no need to wait in a queue”. Sky aims to give a final response to a complaint within 8 weeks, and after that UK customers can go to the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS).

Safer gambling across the Sky brands

A Cool-Off of 1 to 30 days locks you out of Sky Bet, Sky Vegas, Sky Casino, Sky Bingo and Sky Poker together, and Sky can’t lift it early. So a break from Sky Casino also covers Sky Vegas.

Deposit limits run daily, weekly or monthly, on deposits alone or net of withdrawals. Reality Checks remind you every 10 to 180 minutes, and My Profit and Loss shows where you stand. Self-exclusion runs from 6 months to 5 years, or permanently if you exclude from every product, and can’t be removed once set. With an all-product exclusion, Sky says it takes reasonable steps to block matching UK accounts at Paddy Power Online, Betfair, PokerStars and tombola too.

Sky also sets limits of its own. “A Global Deposit Limit is a Limit that we place on all our customers’ accounts,” says the help centre, which calls it “a backstop or handbrake”. It varies with age and counts net deposits daily or over a rolling 30 days, and Sky says “for most customers this will be invisible”. If you spend long stretches on the site, Sky may add a Time Limit that logs you out until the next day, which you can’t change yourself. Affordability checks go through TransUnion.

Who runs Sky Casino, and how your money is held

Sky Casino is run by Bonne Terre Gaming Limited, a Gibraltar company that Sky’s terms say holds Gambling Commission licence 065519 for UK and Isle of Man customers. The register lists its remote casino licence as active since 18 November 2024, with Sky Casino among its trading names, and HM Government of Gibraltar licenses it as well (Remote Gambling Licence No. 156). Flutter Entertainment bought Sky Betting & Gaming’s then owner, The Stars Group, in May 2020, according to Sky’s help centre.

Sky’s terms put customer funds at the Commission’s “Medium protection” level: they sit in a separate bank account that the bank has confirmed in writing isn’t subject to set-off. Paddy Power, in the same group, quotes the “high” level for its casino, and I’d like to see Sky match it.

Sky Casino app not working? Common faults and fixes

The app won't install

Fix: The app needs Android 9 or later, or iOS 15.0 or later on iPhone, and the store listings say it can't be used outside the UK or Ireland. Sky says the games also play in a phone's browser.

Your spins haven't appeared

Fix: Check that you opted in with Take Part before staking, and that the £10 deposit went in by debit card or Apple Pay. Then open an eligible Age of the Gods slot and click the Free Spins logo (the spins follow a £10 deposit and £10 stake, and last 30 days). If there's a fault, Sky says it credits them within 72 hours.

Your account was suspended while abroad

Fix: Wait until you're back in the UK or Ireland, then contact live chat. Sky will call you back to check you're on a UK or Irish number and lift the suspension.

You've forgotten your PIN or username

Fix: Use the Forgotten PIN journey with your username and date of birth. For a username, Sky emails it to you, so check your junk folder and any older email address on the account.

You can't add another card

Fix: The account holds up to three debit cards, so remove one first. Apple Pay doesn't count towards the three.

You've been logged out until tomorrow

Fix: That's a Time Limit, which Sky sets based on your activity. You can't change it yourself, but Sky says it may adjust or remove one after a conversation with its team.
