Paddy Power Poker Twisters and live-event satellites

Paddy Power Poker app download & review (October 2026)

Paddy Power poker earns its place on your phone through the tournaments. The room runs on the iPoker network, which brings Twisters (three-handed jackpot Sit & Gos), Mystery bounty events and satellites to live festivals such as the Irish Open. The money side takes more steps than Paddy Power's other apps, because poker has its own wallet and your winnings are held for 72 hours. And as of 5 October 2026, neither app had been updated since October 2025.

How to download the Paddy Power Poker app on Android and iPhone

For the Paddy Power poker app on iPhone or iPad, search the App Store for Paddy Power Poker Texas Holdem, sold by Paddy Power PLC. It needs iOS 12.0 or later and takes up 239.3 MB. On Android it's simply Paddy Power Poker on Google Play, from PaddyPower PLC. Both are free. As of 5 October 2026 the iPhone app was last updated on 24 October 2025 and the Android app on 23 October 2025. On a Windows PC the Paddy Power poker download is the client on poker.paddypower.com. Paddy Power's help centre says there's no Mac or Linux client, though the Instant Play button on its poker site opens the game in a web browser.

Download the Paddy Power Poker app for Android

Paddy Power Poker app not showing on Google Play?

If you're looking for a Paddy Power poker apk, the Android app is on Google Play under the package name com.betdash. Updates come through the store, so there's no need for a file from anywhere else. Paddy Power's help centre gives one other way in on a phone, which is to open poker.paddypower.com in your browser.

Download the Paddy Power Poker app for iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad (you need a UK Apple ID).
  2. Search for "Paddy Power Poker" and check the developer name matches the official operator before you install anything.

Paddy Power poker on mobile, and the iPoker network behind it

Paddy Power doesn’t run this poker room itself. Its terms say “The poker room on the Poker Website is operated on behalf of Paddy Power by iPoker Network (Playtech Network Management Limited)”, and you accept iPoker’s own licence agreement before you play. For me that’s the first thing to understand about the app, because the tables and the schedule are iPoker’s, while your account, your poker wallet and your limits stay with Paddy Power.

The listings describe what that looks like on a phone. The iPhone release notes added a portrait table for every supported game. The App Store listing mentions bet buttons you set by big blinds or a percentage of the pot, plus quick login by PIN, pattern or fingerprint. The latest Android notes add casino side games during tournament breaks. If you like to multi-table, Paddy Power’s help centre puts the limit at 16 tables, though it doesn’t say whether that applies to the phone app.

Paddy Power poker games: Hold’em, Omaha, Speed Poker and Twisters

The cash games cover what most people play: Texas Hold’em (no limit, plus limit and pot limit), Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo. Paddy Power’s poker school also lists 6 Plus, a Short Deck game played with the 2s to 5s taken out. Tables are heads-up, six-max or nine-handed, and you buy in for 40 to 100 big blinds, so €8 to €20 at 10c/20c. There’s no play-money version of any of them.

Speed Poker, the fast-fold format, tops out at €1/€2, well below the €5/€10 the rake table goes to on regular no-limit and pot-limit tables, so it’s a game for small and middling stakes. It’s six-handed Hold’em (no limit) or Omaha (pot limit) from €0.02/€0.05, and pressing Speed Fold moves you to a new table and a new hand.

If you want a quick game, I’d go for a Twister, since it starts as soon as three players have joined. They’re three-handed turbo tournaments with a random prize drawn at the start, which Paddy Power says can be up to 1,000 times your buy-in. Its leaderboard terms list stakes from €0.25 to €200. Age of the Gods Twisters are the jackpot version, with a hyper-turbo structure and shorter stacks.

Paddy Power poker tournaments and freerolls

Paddy Power poker tournaments, going by its poker school, include freezeouts, re-entry, rebuy and add-on events, bounty knockouts and satellites, played nine-handed, six-handed or heads-up, from deep-stacked to turbo. On the evening of 5 October 2026 the schedule had a Big Deuce KO Day 1 at €0.91 + €0.18. You can play more than one Day 1 there, and only your largest stack carries over to Day 2. There was an Omaha Hi-Lo tournament at £2.70 + £0.30, and Mystery bounty events from €0.91 + €0.18.

If you’d rather play for a live event, the satellites are the draw. The Irish Open 2027 qualifiers, for a €2,250 package to the Main Event in Dublin (18 to 29 March), started with a one-cent first step, which Paddy Power calls a Centroll. There were qualifiers for €990 Banco Bratislava packages too, and Paddy Power says the packages can’t be refunded or swapped for cash.

Whatever you enter, the fee shows next to the buy-in in the lobby, and the tournament page says the specific details and registration options are in the downloadable Paddy Power Poker client. There are daily freerolls for every registered player, and weekly Power Freerolls on Sunday evenings for Rewards Club members from Power Three up.

Paddy Power poker rake and VIP rewards

At no-limit and pot-limit tables up to 5c/10c, Paddy Power takes 1c for every 15c in the pot, which works out at about 6.7%. From 10c/20c up it’s 1c in every 20c, or 5%. Those rates come from the help centre’s rake table, which is set in euros (pound tables use the equivalent limits). On those tables the cap per hand goes from 50c at the lowest stakes to €4 from €0.50/€1 to €5/€10 with three or more players (€1 heads-up). Fixed-limit tables have a separate scale. There’s no rake on a pot that never reaches the flop.

Power Points are how the Poker Rewards Club pays you back. Every €1 of rake and fees earns 20 points, which you swap for cash. The more points you earn in a month, the better the exchange rate, from Power One up to Max Power at 25% rakeback. Points older than 12 months expire. One gap is that the Rewards Club FAQ only explains cashing points in from the desktop client (Cashier, My Account, then ipoints) and says nothing about the phone app.

The poker wallet, euros and withdrawing your winnings

Poker winnings can’t be withdrawn straight away. Paddy Power’s terms say “profits arising from poker sessions are not available immediately to withdraw, they are held in a customer’s poker wallet for a period of 72 hours”. You can keep playing with that money in the meantime. So a win on a Saturday night is held until Tuesday night.

Poker also keeps its own wallet. You deposit into your main Paddy Power balance as usual and move money across through Cashier in the poker software, which has a Deposit tab too. When the money does come out, Paddy Power’s net deposits rule decides which method it goes back to, and our Paddy Power withdrawal times guide explains it, with the times for each method.

Expect most tournaments to be in euros. The poker platform runs tables in euros and pounds, but on the 5 October 2026 schedule 19 of the 25 tournaments listed had euro buy-ins. The two promotions with prizes that day were priced in euros too. If your account is in pounds, the help centre says a buy-in is converted into the table’s currency at a rate updated once a day. The same rate is used when you stand up, so there’s no difference on the way back. Promotion terms convert a pound player’s values to the euro equivalent at a rate fixed daily at 21:00 GMT.

Your Paddy Power poker account and nickname

Poker uses your existing Paddy Power account (it’s one account per customer). The first time you open the poker software you pick a nickname, which is what other players see at the table and in chat. To change it later, message customer services through Message Us with three choices; special characters aren’t allowed. New customers can’t sit at cash tables until verification is done, and Paddy Power runs automatic checks first, asking for photo ID only if those don’t settle it.

Paddy Power poker live chat and disconnections

If you were disconnected mid-game, Paddy Power will look into it if you ask. Contact customer services through Message Us, the live chat in its help centre, with the hand ID, the table or tournament, or the exact time it happened. Our Paddy Power contact guide covers the other routes and how complaints work.

Safer gambling at Paddy Power Poker

Two things in Paddy Power’s poker help are easy to miss. Loss limits on your sports account don’t apply to poker, and a self-exclusion or other safer gambling tool set on your poker account isn’t copied to your main Paddy Power account. If you want to stop gambling with Paddy Power altogether, self-exclude from the main account, where a long break can cover all Paddy Power services.

For poker itself there’s the Poker Transfer Limit, which caps what you move into the poker wallet over a rolling week, month or year (moving money back out doesn’t reset it). Set it under My Account, Safer Gambling Tools on the poker site or in the poker software, or ask customer services. A cut applies straight away, while a rise, or switching it off, only counts if you confirm it after seven days. I’d set one before your first transfer, because your sports loss limits don’t apply to poker.

The main account also has deposit limits, breaks of 1 to 30 days and self-exclusion from six months to five years. Paddy Power’s terms say that once you self-exclude, you mustn’t use any Betfair, Sky Betting and Gaming, tombola or PokerStars account you hold either, and it can stop you doing so.

GAMSTOP (gamstop.co.uk) lets you block yourself from every online gambling site and app run by its members. For free, confidential support go to BeGambleAware.org or call the National Gambling Helpline (GamCare) on 0808 8020 133, open 24 hours. You must be 18 or over to gamble. Please gamble responsibly.

Paddy Power Poker’s licence

For UK players, Paddy Power’s poker terms name PPB GE Limited, which holds Gambling Commission account 52819 and a remote casino licence, the type the Commission says covers poker. That’s a different company from the one behind the Games site (PPB Entertainment), and PPB GE is wholly owned by Flutter Entertainment.

Paddy Power’s other apps

The same Paddy Power login opens its other apps, so there’s no new account to open. For sport, the app is Paddy Power Sports Betting, which our Paddy Power app review covers; for slots it’s Paddy Power Games, reviewed in our Paddy Power casino app review. For how this room compares with other poker apps, see our poker apps guide.

Paddy Power Poker app not working? Common faults and fixes

Some of Paddy Power's poker help is out of date: its disconnection fixes walk you through Internet Explorer, and its Mac answer suggests Apple's Bootcamp. When we last tried to log in, on 5 October 2026, the Android app stayed on the loading screen after we entered our details, while the iPhone app logged in fine.

The Android app stays on the loading screen

Fix: Try the mobile site instead, at poker.paddypower.com in your phone's browser, which the help centre lists as the other way in. If that doesn't get you to the tables either, ask customer services through Message Us.

You can't log in to Paddy Power poker

Fix: Log in with your Paddy Power username, not your poker nickname, which identifies you at the tables and in chat. Our Paddy Power login guide covers forgotten details and blocked accounts.

You can't sit down at a cash table

Fix: Paddy Power's terms keep new customers off cash tables until account verification is complete, so finish the checks first.

You were disconnected mid-hand

Fix: Your hand is folded when your time runs out. At a cash table you're sat out and pay no blinds until you come back, but in a tournament your blinds keep being paid and your hands fold without using your time bank.

Paddy Power Poker went down mid-game

Fix: If the server crashes while you have chips at a table, Paddy Power's terms say the game is cancelled and those chips go back to your account. For a tournament, what you get back depends on how far it had got.

The app isn't offered on your phone

Fix: The App Store listing needs iOS 12.0 or later, so the App Store won't offer the app to an older iPhone or iPad.

Our Paddy Power Poker verdict

Paddy Power poker’s tournaments are good enough to put up with its money rules. I’d play it for the small buy-ins, the Twisters and the chance of a live-event package through a satellite, and if you already bet with Paddy Power there’s nothing new to sign up for. Look elsewhere if you want a Mac download, play-money tables, or your winnings out the same day, since they’re held for three days. Before you register for anything, set a Poker Transfer Limit and check the fee next to the buy-in.

Paddy Power Poker app FAQ

Is there a Paddy Power poker Mac download?

No. Paddy Power's help centre says it has no Mac or Linux client. The App Store lists the iPad app for Macs with an Apple M1 chip or later, but marks it as not verified for macOS. The other route is the Instant Play button on poker.paddypower.com, which opens the poker game in a web browser.

Can I play Paddy Power poker for free, with play money?

Not with play money. In the help centre's words, "But no, there aren't any play money games on Paddy Power Poker." The free way in is a Paddy Power poker freeroll: the daily ones are open to every registered Paddy Power Poker customer, with start times in the tournament lobby.

Is there a Paddy Power poker welcome bonus?

We couldn't confirm a current one when we checked on 5 October 2026. The terms pages linked from the App Store listing, the mobile poker site and the registration page returned errors, and Paddy Power's poker promotions page listed no welcome offer. Check that page before you sign up.

How do Paddy Power poker tokens work?

A tournament token gets you into the tournaments marked with a T symbol in the lobby. Paddy Power's help shows them in the download client, under My Poker or under My Account, Tickets. It says tokens can't be transferred or exchanged for cash, and if you don't use them, you lose them.

- SERP basis: live DataForSEO SERP for "paddy power poker", 5 Oct 2026 (harvest serp-paddy-power-poker-2026-10-05.json): seven forum and Reddit threads, no Paddy Power page and no publisher review, no PAA; related searches "paddy power poker app", "... review", "... withdrawal". The other variants ("app", "download", "tournaments") are 30 to 110 searches, so no further SERP calls were made. Competitor titles are thread names, so the title leads with the term plus "App Download & Review" (A-46) and the meta carries tournaments, freerolls and the withdrawal hold (the related "withdrawal" search). usability : 7 /10 : One Paddy Power login for sports, Games and poker, a portrait table for every supported game and, by the help centre's count, up to 16 tables at once. It's held back by the lack of a Mac client, and neither app had an update between October 2025 and October 2026.
markets (Games & formats) : 7 /10 : Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo, with Speed Poker from €0.02/€0.05 and Twisters from €0.25. There are no play-money tables.
payments : 6 /10 : A separate poker wallet you fund from your main Paddy Power balance, and a 72-hour hold on poker winnings.
live (Tournaments & traffic) : 7 /10 (was 6) : An iPoker schedule with Mystery and bounty events, Flight Tournaments, satellites to the Irish Open and Banco Bratislava, daily freerolls and weekly Power Freerolls for the higher Rewards Club levels.
support (Customer service & RG) : 7 /10 : Live chat through Message Us, a complaints route to IBAS and a poker transfer limit on top of Paddy Power's limits and breaks. Some of the poker help centre is out of date.
Overall: 6.8 (was 6.6). The prose restates no score outside these notes.

GATES (5 Oct 2026)
---

Exit: HANDOVER WITH OPEN ITEMS. Rounds used: 2 (round 2 ran because round 1 raised prose musts and material fact findings). Final repair v2 to v3 with no further critic; every hard fail closed by cutting or narrowing to the row's wording. Run folder: docs/content-drafts/runs/paddy-power-poker/ (outline, drafts v1 to v3, diffs, code gates v1/v2/v3/wf05, four critic reports).

Word count: about 2,770 words of public prose plus about 370 words in the formats and payments tables (about 3,140 in all).

- style-lint.mjs --whole --persona daniel --corpus docs/content-drafts: FAIL 0. On draft v3, WARN 2: four sentences over 35 words, all in the FACT MANIFEST (public copy has none), and repeated three-word phrases (the brand name, "our Paddy Power" link anchors, "help centre"). On this WF-05 file, WARN 4: the same two, plus "offer" x4 (the welcome-offer FAQ and "doesn't offer"-type uses) and one summary opener, which is "Overall:" in the CRITERIA SCORES editor block. Kept.
- research-edition-lint.mjs: FAIL 0, WARN 5. All five kept: "fast-fold" and "quick game" (format names and a sourced reason, R-13, R-14), "Instant Play" (the operator's button label, R-08), the withdrawal-times link sentence (an internal link, no speed claimed), and the pros list ("fast-fold"). Approved exception (Daniel, Checkpoint 1 decision 9; row F-01): the troubleshooting intro's first-hand line, "When we last tried to log in, on 5 October 2026, the Android app stayed on the loading screen after we entered our details, while the iPhone app logged in fine." The lint's patterns ("we tried", "we logged in") do not match this wording, so it did not flag; it is the only first-hand line on the page and is listed in the manifest.
- compliance-lint.mjs --require-rg --product poker: CLEAN, FAIL 0, WARN 0 (on v1, v2, v3 and this file).
- keyword-coverage.mjs: FAIL 0. The exact command from the run brief returns CLEAN with only the primary term, because the tool cannot read this brief: its regexes need "## Search vocabulary" (the brief has an H3) and a "Pack terms" column (the brief's Section plan says "Search terms"). Run again on a scratch copy with only those two headers changed: WARN 2. (a) "bonus terms" (plan 3B): the block is omitted by decision 2. (b) "paddy power poker live chat" heads a section: the tool reads the row's owner "this page (one line; link /paddy-power/contact/)" as another page; the H2 "Paddy Power poker live chat and disconnections" is kept because the block is poker-specific (getting a disconnection investigated) and links the contact guide. Every other plan and vocabulary term matched (exact: paddy power poker, app, download, apk, tournaments, tournament, freeroll, down, mac download; loose: app for iphone, android app download, mobile, vip rewards, login, play money, review). Primary term exact in the title and H1.
- claim-arithmetic.mjs: not run (no stake/odds/return rows). Rake percentages (1c per 15c, 1c per 20c) are reader arithmetic on R-53.
- wf-03 critics (separate subagents, Opus 5.5):
- Round 1 fact (v1): 160 checked | 134 supported | 12 partial | 7 unsupported | 0 outdated | 1 conflicted | 6 overclaim | 0 misquoted. Fixed in v2: main-account "covers everything" line (Block 8), tournament-crash refund (conflicted), Mac FAQ (App Store M1 line added to R-01; "On a Mac" dropped), verdict Mac clause, "Live chat is the route" narrowed, older-phone browser claim, welcome-offer FAQ narrowed to the three links checked (a fifth version on the Poker School overview was never fetched), "Mystery from a €2 game" replaced with the real buy-in, "most" euros dated to the schedule, promotion "values", "brand best known for sports betting" cut, nickname "only" cut, "mostly no limit" cut, listing features attributed, slots-only in Block C. Rows extended from the harvest: R-01, R-11, R-16, R-25, R-28 (now conflicted), R-38/R-39, R-53, C-23, C-34.
- Round 1 voice (v1): 3 musts (rake block copied the Ladbrokes poker skeleton; seven straight-answer blocks in a row; Block 3 changelog paragraph), 17 shoulds, 9 coulds. All three musts rebuilt in v2: rake given as percentages with a Paddy Power-specific order; Blocks 5 and 8 made problem-first; Block 3 rewritten around what the iPoker set-up means for the reader. Shoulds taken: a troubleshooting item for the Android loading screen, the Centroll explained, "client" cut back, Block 7 retitled and narrowed, Block C and S2 rebuilt, 72-hour hold trimmed from the score note, pros reworded, keyword-bolted leads trimmed.
- Round 2 fact (v2): 156 checked | 135 supported | 11 partial | 1 unsupported | 0 outdated | 3 conflicted | 6 overclaim | 0 misquoted. Closed in v3: rake rates and caps scoped to no-limit and pot-limit tables; J-05 opinion narrowed to sports loss limits; Block 7 narrowed to disconnections; "nothing to set up" replaced with "no new account to open"; S2 answer-first, with the Games site (PPB Entertainment) and the account number from the register; 6 Plus attributed to the poker school and taken out of the Games score note; euros scoped to tournaments, with the two prize promotions; older-phone line cut; Android 8.0 attributed to the listing's details; client wording for tournament registration; "That's because" cut (unsupported cause); tournament crash rule reduced to the common ground (by stage). The payments-row card-time conflict stays shown openly in the cell, as on /paddy-power/ (C-24 wording).
- Round 2 voice (v2): 2 musts (generic Speed Poker paragraph; the J-05 line overclaiming). Both fixed in v3 (Speed Poker given its €1/€2 ceiling against the €5/€10 tables; J-05 narrowed). Shoulds taken in v3: Block 6 opener, Block 7 keyword sentence, browser fix no longer repeats the apk note, Block 5 heading uses "withdrawing", Mac FAQ answers "No.", tokens FAQ opens on what tokens do, usability note reworded off the Ladbrokes phrase. Shoulds left: see OPEN ITEMS.
- wf-04 compliance: PASS. 18+ and "Please gamble responsibly", BeGambleAware.org, the National Gambling Helpline (GamCare) 0808 8020 133 and GAMSTOP in Block 8; the template adds the affiliate disclosure. No welcome-offer block, no offer text or amounts anywhere; the one FAQ says no current offer could be confirmed (decision 2). No mixed-product copy (the Epic Ape spins are not mentioned). Rakeback and freerolls described as the loyalty scheme, with no prize amounts; Irish Open and Banco package values appear only as dated schedule facts. No profit, income or "beat the fish" framing; no RTP. Five genuine cons. Euros stated plainly in Block 5, not a con (decision 10). Dec 2025 settlement absent (decision 8). No "unknown sources" or sideload steps. The Flutter-group self-exclusion is neutral, from General Terms 20.4. No FAQPage schema added.

OPEN ITEMS (for Checkpoint 2)
---

1. Block T intro | first-hand | Daniel's line (F-01) in the agreed "we" wording: confirm it as written. A reaction clause can only come from Daniel; none was invented.
2. Blocks 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, V | prose (judgement) | the agent-proposed opinion lines in the manifest ("For me that's the first thing to understand about the app", "I'd go for a Twister", "the satellites are the draw", "I'd set one before your first transfer", "good enough to put up with its money rules"): confirm, edit or cut. Voice r1 doubted a "surprised me" line in Block 3, now reworded.
3. Block 2, Block T, key facts | evidence | Android 8.0 comes from Google Play's page data (minSdk 26), not the visible listing (R-06, medium). Re-check the listing's About dialog at R6, or leave min_android empty.
4. Block 5a | evidence | card withdrawal times conflict between two Paddy Power help pages (C-24) and are shown as on /paddy-power/. The fact critic notes the Payment Methods FAQ also says eligible Visa Debit withdrawals can take up to 2 hours: add it to the instant row, or keep the sibling wording.
5. Block T | evidence | R-28 is now marked conflicted (terms Part D 5.2 vs help 3752 on interrupted tournaments). The page gives the cash-table rule and says tournaments depend on how far they got. OK?
6. Block 11 | evidence | a fifth poker welcome-offer version sits on the Poker School overview (linked to PPP050421SUO, never fetched). The FAQ names only the three terms links checked. Fetch it before R6 if you want the FAQ to say "none of the advertised offers".
7. Block 4, PF | evidence | 6 Plus is listed only on the Poker School overview; the 5 Oct schedule, the rake table and the App Store games list don't show it. It is attributed on the page and kept out of the Games score note.
8. Cross-page | evidence | the Google Play listing gives poker@paddypower.com as its support email (google-play.txt). The contact page (120565) names support@paddypower.com from the download guide only. Not used here (decision: live chat is the route); flag for the contact page.
9. Whole page | prose (should, left) | voice r2: the register reads like a careful research writer (mean 18.3 words a sentence against Daniel's 26; few "I think" / "for me"); nine "If you..." openers; many "help centre" attributions; the verdict follows the same three steps as the Ladbrokes and sportsbook verdicts; the apk note makes the parent page's two points; "5 October 2026" recurs (it dates each volatile fact). Daniel's line edit at Checkpoint 2 is the natural fix.
10. Tooling | process | keyword-coverage.mjs can't read this brief (H3 "Search vocabulary", "Search terms" column). Either use "## Search vocabulary" and "Pack terms" in research briefs or widen the tool's regexes. R6 should run it on the rendered parity text with the same scratch copy.
11. Brief | process | the Search vocabulary row still says not to repeat "Bootcamp"; decision 9 overrides it (it appears once, in the troubleshooting intro, as out-of-date advice). Tidy the brief row.
12. R6 checklist | process | apply the FIELDS table (back up first; unset unsourced flags; play_money FALSE renders "not available"); refresh the iOS rating count; confirm overall 6.8; bind the page and check the /poker-apps/ card; sync the Yoast indexable; run parity and keyword-coverage on the rendered page; close the Rendered fields table.
