Sky Bet withdrawal time: how long each payment method takes

Sky’s help centre names Pay by Bank as its quickest way to get money out: the money is in your bank immediately, though your first Pay by Bank withdrawal needs 90 minutes or more. A debit card withdrawal takes 1 to 4 hours if the card qualifies for Sky’s Instant Withdrawals (all Visa cards and participating Mastercards) and 2 to 5 working days if it doesn’t. Revolut Pay is usually instant.

Sky Vegas and Sky Casino withdrawals come out of the same main wallet and follow the same help articles, so the table answers for them as well.

Sky Bet withdrawal times by payment method, as Sky’s help pages give them (checked 7 October 2026):

Payment method Sky’s stated withdrawal time Minimum withdrawal (Sky’s help) Note
Pay by Bank Immediately; allow at least 90 minutes the first time £5 No fees
Debit card, Instant Withdrawals (all Visa, participating Mastercard) 1 to 4 hours £5 Sky’s withdrawal help doesn’t list which Mastercards take part
Debit card, standard 2 to 5 working days £5 Bank holidays aren’t working days
Apple Pay No separate time given Not stated Only to a card you’ve already deposited from with Apple Pay
Revolut Pay Usually instant No minimum No fees; UK customers paying in pounds
PayPal and Google Pay No longer accepted Not applicable Gone from every Sky Betting & Gaming brand

How long do Sky Bet withdrawals take?

It depends on the method, and once you confirm a withdrawal Sky tells you how long it should take to reach your bank.

Sky Bet fast withdrawal: Pay by Bank

Pay by Bank links your Sky account to up to three bank accounts at a time, and most banks work with it: the list shows when you start adding one from the Deposits page. UK customers need pounds as their account currency and an eligible UK bank account in pounds. Still nothing 90 minutes after a Pay by Bank withdrawal? Sky’s advice is to give it 24 hours, as payments are occasionally held up, and only then get in touch. Deposited by card? Then the card is first in line for withdrawals until it has had that money back (net deposits, below).

In Ireland, you can’t withdraw for up to 24 hours after your first Pay by Bank deposit. For now only Revolut users there get Pay by Bank withdrawals instantly; Sky says the rest typically arrive within 2 to 6 hours.

How long does Sky Bet take to withdraw to Revolut, Monzo, Santander or Halifax?

Revolut Pay, Sky’s own Revolut option, is usually instant. Sky’s help pages don’t give a Sky Bet withdrawal time for Monzo, Santander, Halifax or other UK banks. Its times are per payment method, so I’d expect money sent to any of those banks, or to Revolut by Pay by Bank or card, to take that method’s time. Once the money has left Sky, its terms leave the clearance to the bank that issued your card (normally the same day if your bank supports it, otherwise 2 to 5 working days).

Sky Bet Instant Withdrawals and standard card withdrawals

No money 4 hours after a card withdrawal? Sky says the card probably isn’t eligible for Instant Withdrawals, in which case it should take 2 to 5 working days from the day you asked. These are Sky’s earliest and latest arrival days:

Day you withdraw Earliest arrival Latest arrival
Monday Wednesday Following Monday
Tuesday Thursday Following Tuesday
Wednesday Friday Following Wednesday
Thursday Monday Following Thursday
Friday Tuesday Following Friday
Saturday Wednesday Following Friday
Sunday Wednesday Following Friday

A request made from Friday to Sunday should land by the following Friday at the latest, later if a bank holiday falls in between. Sky’s withdrawal articles don’t give weekend times for Pay by Bank or Instant Withdrawals.

Sky Bet Apple Pay withdrawal time

Sky doesn’t give an Apple Pay withdrawal time of its own. You can only withdraw through Apple Pay to a card you’ve already used for an Apple Pay deposit on your Sky account, so the money goes back to that card. Sky lists its card withdrawal times as 1 to 4 hours for Instant Withdrawals and 2 to 5 working days for standard ones.

Can you withdraw to PayPal on Sky Bet?

Not any more, but money left in your account from your PayPal days can still come out. Add a new payment method and deposit £5 with it (Sky asks for that with any new method); after that, the deposit and the rest of your balance can be withdrawn together.

How to withdraw money from Sky Bet

  1. Go to My Account, then Payments, then Withdraw. Pay by Bank is on the Popular tab.
  2. Choose the payment method you want the money sent to, and type the amount in the Amount box.
  3. Tap Withdraw. The button shows black when a withdrawal is available, and on a small phone screen you may have to scroll down to see it.

Recent withdrawals show on the same Withdraw page, and your full withdrawal history (alongside bets, winnings and deposits) is in My Transactions. In the app, that’s behind the person icon at the top right.

Sky Poker money has to go back from the Poker wallet to your main wallet before you can withdraw it. In the Sky Bet app, Transfer Funds is under the person icon; on the Sky Poker site it’s on the My Account page (more in our Sky Poker review).

Why is my Sky Bet withdrawal pending?

I’d look at the Pending tab before contacting anyone, because it tells you who has your money. A withdrawal in that tab is one Sky is still processing, and once it has gone from the tab, it’s with your bank (how long Sky Bet takes to pay out is in the FAQ). An error message when you asked for it doesn’t mean it failed: Sky’s admin team still processes it. Chasing Sky won’t move it any faster, and Sky puts that bluntly: “Our customer service team are unable to speed up the withdrawal process.”

Can you cancel or reverse a Sky Bet withdrawal?

Sky’s help and terms don’t cover cancelling or reversing a withdrawal. If you want to ask, do it while the withdrawal is still in the Pending tab, where Sky still has it, through Withdrawal Query Chat on Sky’s Withdrawal Queries help page.

Sky Bet withdrawal not in your account?

For a standard card withdrawal, wait the full 5 working days before contacting Sky (24 hours for Pay by Bank or a card that normally pays within 4 hours). Several withdrawals may not arrive in the order you made them: Sky’s example is a Saturday withdrawal reaching the bank before Friday’s. A bet that’s only just won may not have been paid out to your balance yet, so check My Transactions.

After 5 working days, use Withdrawal Query Chat on Sky’s Withdrawal Queries help page (our Sky Bet contact guide has the other routes). Once you’ve spoken to your bank and 5 working days have passed, Sky can give you an ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) within 24 hours. It’s your bank’s 16-digit receipt for the funds, which your bank can use to trace them.

Sky Bet withdrawal to an old, lost or expired card

If your bank sent a direct replacement for an expired or cancelled card, edit the old card under Manage Payment Methods. If you’ve switched banks or closed the account, a card with positive net deposits stays on your account until Sky has proof it’s yours. Send Remove a Card Chat a photo of the card showing only the first 6 and last 4 digits, and a bank statement with a Sky transaction from it. Lost the card? Cancel it with your bank. With the account number and sort code still usable, the withdrawal goes through but may take a little longer; without them, it should be declined and returned to your Sky balance.

Why can’t I withdraw from Sky Bet?

Most of the reasons Sky gives for withdrawal problems are checks you haven’t cleared yet, starting with the one every new account meets:

  • A new account. Sky’s terms let a new UK customer deposit up to £1,500 in the first 30 days but not withdraw until fully verified. Documents sent between 2am and 7am wait until Sky’s team is back.
  • No deposit yet. Sky verifies your card from a deposit.
  • A new method that hasn’t had its first deposit (see PayPal above).
  • A card or method that doesn’t accept withdrawals. Sky’s answer is to withdraw by Pay by Bank.
  • A card that isn’t in your name. Sky removes it, and can suspend the account and void bets placed with it.
  • A suspended or restricted account. Nothing comes out during a suspension, and Sky may restrict an account until it gets the source of funds information it asked for.
  • Net deposits, below.

Free bet tokens can’t be withdrawn either; the welcome offer’s terms are on our Sky Bet sign-up offer page.

Net deposits: why Sky Bet might make you split a withdrawal

Sky’s net deposits rule (it also calls it the closed loop) means each payment method gets back at least what you deposited with it before money can go anywhere else. In Sky’s own example, you deposit £70 by Visa and £50 by Mastercard and want £150 out to the Mastercard: £70 has to go to the Visa first. The withdrawals page shows the net deposit next to each method, and the error message for a wrong choice names the card and the amount it needs.

Sky’s terms count net deposits over the previous 150 days, and once every method is at zero or below, extra funds can go to any method you’ve registered. If you switch your deposits to Pay by Bank, I’d expect it to take a while to pay off: card deposits from those 150 days still go back to the cards first.

Sky Bet minimum withdrawal and limits

The minimums in the table come from Sky’s withdrawal help. Its general terms say the standard minimum withdrawal is £10, though a balance below that can be withdrawn in full by contacting Customer Care. I’d plan on the £5 in Sky’s withdrawal help; if a small balance won’t go through, the terms’ Customer Care route covers it.

Sky publishes no maximum withdrawal. Its terms say your bank or card provider may cap the total you can withdraw, and to go above that you’d contact Sky with whatever documents it asks for. Pay by Bank limits depend on your bank, and once it’s linked you can set your own.

Sky Vegas, Sky Casino and Sky Bingo withdrawal times

The Sky Vegas withdrawal time is Sky Bet’s. The withdrawal, Pay by Bank, net deposits and Revolut Pay articles read word for word the same on the Sky Bet, Sky Vegas and Sky Casino help centres. Sky’s terms give you one account across all its services, and Sky Bet, Sky Vegas, Sky Casino and Sky Bingo spend from one main wallet. Our Sky Casino review and Sky Bingo review cover the games.

Sky Bet withdrawal FAQ

Does Sky Bet charge for withdrawals?

No. Section 12.9 of Sky’s terms rules out charges for withdrawals to UK debit cards, online payment services and international Visa cards from non-restricted countries.

How long does Sky Bet take to pay out?

Once Sky has approved a withdrawal, its terms say the money usually leaves Sky within 2 hours on the same working day. How long it then takes to land depends on the method (see the table at the top).

Can Sky Bet refuse to pay out?

Yes, in some cases. Sky can void winnings that a malfunction credited to your account, and ask for them back if you’ve already withdrawn them. Every bet is also subject to a daily maximum Sky will pay any one customer (our review lists the Sky Bet maximum payouts), and the checks that hold up a withdrawal are listed above.
